APPLICATION
CS523 is used in closed chilled and hot water heating systems. It is formulated to rapidly establish and maintain a corrosion inhibition film on clean metal
surfaces. It is compatible with anti-freeze solutions.

Dosage & Feeding
Initially, add one gallon of CWT CS523 per 100 gallons of system capacity.
Subsequent additions are required on the basis of one quart of product per 100 gallons of make-up water to the system to compensate for system water losses. Add the
required quantity of product to the system using a by-pass pot feeder. The feeder can be installed at any convenient location in the system where there is a pressure
drop. Sodium nitrite residual level is generally maintained between 800 ppm and 1200 ppm as NaNo2.
NOTE: New installations should be free of oil, grease, dirt, etc., prior to charging with CS523. CWT CL 594 is a proven cleaner specifically formulated for this
purpose.
Handling & Precautions
CWT CS523 is an alkaline product and should be handled as such. Avoid eye and skin contact. Flush affected areas with large quantities of water. Obtain
medical attention for eyes. Refer to the Material Safety Sata Sheet for additional safe handling information.
