Large Gear Drive Mixers - JG Series
Neptune’s JG Series is the most powerful gear drive mixer Neptune has to offer. JG Series is best for difficult mixing applications handling viscosities ranging from 100 cP to 25,000 cP and handling up to 5,000 gallons (18,927 liters). - Clamp or cup plate mount
- Heavy helical gear, 350 rpm motor
- Grease filled gearbox eliminates oil and the possibility of oil contamination of process
- No clutches to slip, wear or replace
- Square pitch 1.0 ratio marine propellers are used exclusively. Flow coefficients and power consumption characteristics equal those of the best hydrofoil impeller designs
- Vibration-absorbing pad as a standard feature
- Shaft bearings permanently lubricated
- Mounting clamp has adjustable angle of entry by indexed ball-and-socket design to achieve various process results
- Fixed cup plate mount optional on 1/3 HP through 1-1/2 HP, standard on 2 HP and larger models
- Flange mount (Series JGF) and Angle-Riser Mount (Series JGR) Gear Drive Mixers are also available
