Foot Valves and Foot Strainers

Peristaltic pumps can easily pump chemicals with particles. However, the use of a Suction Strainer can help prevent clogging in the required Injection check valve. For more viscous fluids, removal of the Polypropylene Filter from the Suction Strainer may allow for better flow.

A Foot Valve may be considered to prevent loss of prime when performing regular maintenance, such as replacing a Tube Assembly. They are installs on the inlet (suction) side of the pump.

Foot Strainers are recommended for FLEXFLO peristaltic pumps.

Foot Valves are recommended for CHEM-FEED diaphragm and multi-diaphragm pumps.
