Easy, install one of Carlon’s proven JL® residential/commercial series meters; add our remarkable self-powered generator (that’s right – no batteries to replace or power lines to connect) and combine it with a rugged, compact and accurate Universal Remote counter. The result is one of the most accurate, compact and reliable remote systems on the market. For greater convenience and efficiency, the Universal Remote may be installed up to 500’ from the meter.

Carlon’s Universal Remote is easy to install and easy to read. As an added benefit, each unit is sealed to keep out dirt, insects and moisture.

Installation Instructions

1. Flush the line thoroughly after all plumbing changes to prevent contaminates from entering the meter.
2. Install horizontally with the register facing up and inlet port facing the water supply line.
3. For outdoor installation, protect meter from direct exposure to the elements.
4. Protect meter from backflow of water opposite of indicted flow direction.
