Pressure Relief Valves provide essential protection for chemical feed systems by preventing damage caused by excessive pressure due to equipment malfunction or line blockage. Built with durable materials, these valves deliver dependable performance in demanding municipal and industrial environments.
When system pressure exceeds the preset limit, the diaphragm lifts, allowing the chemical to discharge through the relief port - redirecting it safely back to the chemical tank or the pump’s suction side. Each valve is factory-set at 50 psi but can be easily adjusted in the field between 10 and 150 psi using the adjustment screw. For optimal protection, the valve should be set about 15 psi above the system’s operating pressure and installed as close to the pump as possible, with no other valves or fittings between them.
