Fluorometer

Fluorometers are devices that measure the concentration of fluorescent dyes, specifically PTSA or Fluorescein, in a water sample. Water treatment chemical concentrations can be difficult and expensive to measure directly. Fluorescent dyes can be added to the water treatment chemicals in proportion to the active ingredient and used as an easily measured tracer. These sensors are also called fluorescent sensors or fluorometric sensors.
