Pyxis SP-395T TolyTriazole (TTA) Handheld

The Pyxis SP-395T handheld fluorometer is a unique, patented device from Pyxis Lab® that stands out globally. This innovative tool uses UV light absorbance to detect Tolytriazole (TTA) content in water, providing instantaneous and reliable results. Unlike traditional wet chemistry, the SP-395T measures the total UV absorbance value of azole and reports the TTA concentration in ppm. Users must correlate these readings with exact wet chemistry values and account for potential background interferences by checking untreated makeup water for UV absorbance signals.

It's important to note that the SP-395T is not suitable for use in waters containing nitrite treatments, as nitrite absorbs UV light and can cause false high readings. By accurately validating azole concentrations, the Pyxis SP-395T significantly reduces service time. To ensure optimal performance, users should understand their system dynamics and evaluate potential interferences.
