 Product Description

  • Concentrated: 14 - 21 ounces treats 1000 gallons of feed water.
  • Balanced blend of alkalinity boosters, sulfite oxygen scavengers and polymeric organic dispersants.
  • Has a dedicated iron oxide dispersants to retard rust deposits.
  • Contains a steam line treatment that neutralizes low acidic pH in the condensate return lines.
  • Can be used on steam boilers that have hard water makeup, however, for best results soften makeup water.
  • Ingredients in BW103 meet FDA/USDA guidelines for use in treating boilers where the steam produced may contact edible food products.
  • BW103 is intended for use in boilers operating in the low and medium pressure range below 300 psi.

 BW103 Application Rate and Control Parameters

  • BW103 should be fed with a chemical metering pump into the feed water storage tank or feed water line.  If possible, interlock the chemical metering pump to the boiler feed water pump so that chemical is fed in proportion to load.
  • Use Sulfite Test Kit P.N.# CNTK3502-Z to test for BW103.  The recommended test range is 30 - 60 ppm as Sulfite.
