The Parker Polyethylene (PE) tubing is designed for food handling, as well as general purpose instrument applications. This tubing is made from a resin with a high molecular weight. This helps increase the long-term strength of the tubing, along with improving their uniformity and dimensional stability. Besides this, the tubing complies with the NSF-51 and FDA requirements for food contact applications, and NSF-61 for potable water. Cannon Water Technology, Inc. provides high-quality Parflex PE black tubing. The SKU of this product is PARFLEX-BLK and it belongs to the EB series. The tubing consists of an ultraviolet inhibitor, which makes it suitable for use in the sunlit areas. The tubing can be efficiently used in close proximity to high, ultraviolet light sources.

Although it is not recommended to use standard black for food handling applications, still you can order FDA-compliant and NSF-listed listed black on a special request. A tube support should be used with this tubing for maximum holding power where end loading, vibration or pressure spikes may occur.
