Stenner S420 Series Pumps

The Stenner S420 Series is a variable-speed peristaltic metering pump designed to deliver liquid chemicals in direct proportion to a 4-20 mA analog input signal. The pump response can be scaled from 25% to 100% of the input signal using the potentiometer on the control pad. In manual operating mode, the maximum pump output can be independently adjusted from 5% to 100%, providing greater flexibility for chemical dosing and process control.

With its ability to accept and respond to a 4-20 mA control signal, the Stenner S420 Series integrates readily with water treatment instrumentation and automated process controls. It is well suited for applications using pH and ORP monitoring systems to regulate chemical dosing, maintain target water chemistry, and support consistent treatment of effluent and discharge streams.

The S420 series metering pump also incorporates several practical features for operational reliability and equipment protection. Its integrated leak detection system includes a dedicated output relay and LED status indicator on the control pad. When a leak is detected, the pump automatically stops, activates the output signal, and illuminates the Leak LED, helping operators respond quickly to a potential chemical containment issue.

For critical dosing applications, the Stenner S420 metering pump provides primary-to-backup pump capability to help maintain continuous operation. When the backup function is activated, dosing operation transfers seamlessly from the primary pump to the backup unit. Additional LED indicators provide at-a-glance visibility into pump operating status and system conditions, supporting easier monitoring and troubleshooting.
