Chem-Tech / Mec-O-Matic Injection Back Check Valve Assembly

This injection back check valve is used on the Mec-O-Matic and Chem-Tech XP series pumps. It fits 3/8" OD tubing and has a 1/4" male thread for installation into your pipeline.  

This injector is unique due to it's special design making a "Self Cleaning Injector" helping to prevent scale deposits from plugging the injection nozzle tip.

This is accomplished by the addition of a small length of clear tubing that goes over the injection nozzle blocking water from entering the holes in the tip.  

Scale deposits can develop when high levels of chlorine come into contact with calcium and magnesium in water. A chemical reaction occurs that caused the formation of scale leading to plugging and back check valve failures.
