For high-pressure pumps only: 26–100 PSI

Use this injection check valve to inject chemicals into your pipeline while helping prevent water from flowing back into the distribution system. The check valve protects your pump and helps prevent water from backfilling into the chemical storage reservoir.

Its step-up thread connects to either a 1/4 in. or 1/2 in. female NPT fitting. The fitting connects to 1/4 in. O.D. tubing.

Installation

1. Before removing an existing injector or installing a new one, disconnect power to pumps or motors and depressurize the system to prevent injury, damage, or flooding.
2. Install a tee or fitting at the injection point to create a 1/4 in. or 1/2 in. female NPT connection.
3. Hold the injector against the pipe fitting to determine the pipe centerline. Trim the injection quill as needed so the chemical enters the center of the water stream.
4. Apply a small amount of Teflon tape to the male threads, then tighten carefully.
5. Connect the pump’s discharge tubing and hand-tighten the connection nut.
6. Repressurize the system and check for leaks.
